The Health Desk of the Diocese,\nwith the help of the Human Resource Officer, is facilitating the review process.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants to the conference have been drawn from all five health facilities, under the proprietorship of the Diocese, namely; Atupele, St. Anne\u2019s and Kaseye community hospitals, St. Clara Health Centre and Hope Clinic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"737\" src=\"https:\/\/www.karongadiocese.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Discussions-in-progress-1024x737.jpg\" alt=\"Discussions in progress\" class=\"wp-image-2521\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.karongadiocese.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Discussions-in-progress-1024x737.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.karongadiocese.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Discussions-in-progress-600x432.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.karongadiocese.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Discussions-in-progress-300x216.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.karongadiocese.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Discussions-in-progress-768x553.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.karongadiocese.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Discussions-in-progress.jpg 1027w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption>Discussions in progress<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The policy review exercise seeks to replace the HR Policy\nwhich has been in force for quite some time and introduced a harmonized policy\ncovering all health facilities under the Diocese. The revised policy will\nensure compliance with emerging legislations and employment contracts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The policy will also look at areas critical to the Healing\nMinistry of the Diocese and ensuring professionalism and efficiency in service\ndelivery apart from clarifying expectation of performance and behavior and\ncreating a healthy work place culture.\n\nThe\nreviewed policy will be presented to the Caritas Board for approval before it\nis put into practice by individual facilities.\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Veronica Kimangira A three-day conference aimed at reviewing the Human Resource Policy, which will be used by all health facilities under the Diocese of Karonga is underway at Zutu House in Karonga.
