{"id":2544,"date":"2019-10-25T16:17:51","date_gmt":"2019-10-25T16:17:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.karongadiocese.org\/?p=2544"},"modified":"2019-10-25T16:17:51","modified_gmt":"2019-10-25T16:17:51","slug":"kaseye-girls-secondary-school-honours-teachers-and-support-staff","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.karongadiocese.org\/index.php\/kaseye-girls-secondary-school-honours-teachers-and-support-staff\/","title":{"rendered":"Kaseye Girls Secondary School Honours Teachers and Support Staff"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>By Chimwemwe Chisi<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teachers and the support staff at Kaseye Girls Secondary\nSchool have been given a pat on their backs by the institution&#8217;s Board of Governors\nduring award presentation ceremony held last week in Chitipa District to\nacknowledge their hard work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This follows the release of 2019\nMalawi School Certificate of Education Examination results which has seen the\nschool registering 99.8% pass rate, calling\nfor the honour of teachers and support staff for\ntheir gallant effort injected on the institution to\nyield standard results. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nfunction was graced by the representative of the Board,\nrepresentative of Primary Education Advisor (PEA) and other stakeholders for\nthe school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Commenting on the matter, one\nof the teachers, Thokozani Mphande,\nan English teacher, applauded the initiative made by the\nBoard; saying, its one way of encouraging teachers to work extra hard in\ndelivering to the students for best\nresults.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI am happy and pleased with\nthis initiative, since its one way of motivating us to work extra hard by instilling hard\nworking spirit in every teacher so that next time they receive more after\nproducing many distinctions,\u201d said Mphande.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kaseye\nGirls is among the best performing schools in the just released MSCE results.\nThe awards came in two categories of all\nForm 4 teachers with best results in particular subjects and staff members,\nrespectively. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative is expected to trigger drastic delivery\nof education services at the institution as it has been deemed as a great\nsource of motivation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taking\nher part, the Headmistress for Kaseye Girls Secondary School\nSister Clementine Phiri applauded the teachers and\nthe support staff for the job well done, saying their efforts are not lightly\nperceived. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\nam glad today to be part of this get together because we all worked to get such\npoints and I believe we will produce 100% pass rate this academic year,\u201d says\nSister Phiri. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She discouraged teachers from being complacent, but to continue working hard for excellent results and thus outshine other schools.  \u201cToday we celebrate our victory that we have achieved good results, but then we should not relax because we have Chaminade Boys Secondary School which also performs better, let us work harder and maintain our excellence,\u201d she articulated. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Chimwemwe Chisi Teachers and the support staff at Kaseye Girls Secondary School have been given a pat on their backs by the institution&#8217;s Board of Governors during award presentation ceremony held last week in Chitipa District to acknowledge their hard work.
