The team was led by the Coordinator of the\norganization in the Diocese, Deodatus Muriya. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In\nhis remarks during the Eucharistic celebration, during which the Scouts served\nas ushers and sang scout songs, the Parish Priest who is also Bishop\u2019s and\nPastoral Secretary of the Diocese of Karonga, commended the group for visiting\nhis parish. He further urged young people in the parish to join the group as it\npromote peace within the Church and community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking\non behalf of the group, Mr. Deodatus Muriya, who is the Coordinator of the\norganization at Diocesan level informed the congregation that Catholic scouting\nempowers young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in the world today. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cScouting\ndraws young people to responsible participation in the life, mission and work\nof the Catholic faith community.
