The training\naimed at equipping facilitators and mentors with relevant knowledge, skills and\nattitudes on the subject matter as well as methods of instruction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project aims at transforming social\nnorms and attitudes in the area of T\/A Kilupula so as to reduce the prevalence\nof gender based violence. Under\nthe project, facilitators will be holding weekly training sessions on gender\nequality, reducing GBV and social inclusion with adolescent boys and girls who\nare in school and out of school clubs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On their part, the participants hailed the training\nsession and expressed hope that the weekly training sessions they will be\nconducting will help change attitudes of boys and girls towards gender equality\nand reduce gender based violence in the long run. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The District Coordinator for <em>Tithese Nkhanza, <\/em>Atusaye Nyondo, urged\nthe facilitators and mentors to stay committed in changing attitudes of\nadolescent boys and girls in their communities so as to reduce the prevalence\nof gender inequality and gender based violence (GBV).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In its initial stages, the project is targeting eight schools\nin the area of Traditional Authority Kilupula.
