From July 18 to July 21, 2024, Bishop Stefan Zerkon of the German Catholic Diocese of Munster paid a visit to the Diocese of Karonga. He visited some of the diocese’s churches and the initiatives it is carrying out when he was there. During the Visit he also led the mass for the dedication of the St. Matthias church building in Ibanda, Chitipa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ST. MATTHIAS OUTSTATION CHURCH DEDICATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rt. Rev. Bishop Zerkon led the mass for the dedication of the newly constructed St. Matthias Outstation Church in Ibanda, Chitipa and during his homily, he expressed his joy that the church is a global family and encouraged the Christians of the parish to constantly seek God’s presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
