Each household received a cash disbursement of MK100,000 in response to the state of disaster declared by the president on March 23, 2024. Expressing her gratitude for the assistance, she stated, \u201cI am very thankful for this assistance; I will use this money to buy food for my family.\u201d Anna shared her struggles with crop production due to changing weather patterns that severely impacted her harvests. \u201cWe only got about 90 kgs from our one-acre farm,\u201d she explained.
